If Patriots Had to Take to the Streets,
Then It Is Clear That Traitors Are in Power

— By Branko Veljković —
Yevgeny, my dear Yevgeny…
You know what opinion I hold about politicians. All politicians. You also know why and upon what my opinion is so unshakeably founded.
Until you learn to think that way, you will remain a prisoner in that vertical of yours.
Other people around the world were also born in a prison, but they found the strength and faith to realise that an entire life exists beyond those bars. Look, the students in Serbia have realised this, and that is why they are free.
I am a free man.
Therefore, tell that self-proclaimed[1] of yours that it was all clumsy. A clumsy one-act play. An exalted, commissioned regime official, at a commissioned time, poses a commissioned question to get a commissioned answer. So, the determinant is — commissioned. And what is the point of all this commissioning if the self-proclaimed from bumf*ck nowhere, “who is trusted,” is in the right?
It is also clumsy because of the complete visibility that Vladimir[2] and the European Commissioners have the same protégé and have the same demands. Both are bothered by the students and the people on the streets. Both are asking for “10 people to talk to,” so that the regime, without calling elections, gets names to crucify. The difference between Vladimir and the EU is only in the approach, it is of a narrative type. Vladimir wants to co-opt the students by calling them “patriotic,” and the EU calls them a “democratic” youth. And since when have those two been separated?
So, you are saying the same thing. It must be that you have merely divided the roles and narratives, while your goal is the same.
As for the local regime, they have devised it as follows — the regime opposition, simulating that they are leading the protests, has the task of lamenting before EU institutions that Russian services have taken over the protests, reproaching the students for not carrying EU flags, while the regime “position” has the task of spreading the nebulous thesis of a “colour revolution,” simultaneously pushing provocateurs with EU flags into the student protests. And so on…
They think that this time, too, their schizophrenia will become universal.
The students did not “take the bait,” which is why they “adorned” Vladimir with “not-in-charge”[3], just as they declared the European Union not in charge. They told Europe — no digging[4], and Serbia is whole within the borders prescribed by the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, and they told Russia — no colour revolution!
They said it nicely: “We are neither pro-Russian nor pro-European, we are our own!”
And they have a right to that, because they are free!
Thank God.
And actually, this is just another incoherent attempt to keep the same creator of mirrors in power by faking a clash of two mirrors. The idea is to take away from the people of Serbia the right to decide about their own interests. In the interest of truth, you mentioned ones, have already a plan for when the people take their destiny into their own hands, to jointly react to suppress it. You have already done this. You are already doing it. The collaboration is visible. Hence these covert threats…
Yevgeny… Well, that self-proclaimed whom you protect as your valuable investment is actually a virus[5]. A virus dangerous for you, not for us, because we have developed an immune system. Through you it is spreading across entire part of the world assigned to you, because you have not understood. Do you not see that this is exactly what is happening? Do you understand what the price of that lack of understanding will be? Read carefully now and pay attention to the translation, the words are important, and I will explain the details to you later.
Over here, that little “because I am smart”[6] poltroon of yours has used up all the stray cardboard cutouts, and now wants to spend you everywhere. Both generals and bishops and patriarchs and public workers, positions and oppositions… He has used them all up. He has even spent those he “pasted” onto the students, because there, too, he did not understand the “filter.” They were mass-beating each other up on the stands, in Caciland[7], commissioned shows and in party declamations. All the rats had to obey the piper.
They simply no longer exist. The people do not recognise them. Do not see them.
There is no more changing of clothes.
As for your garden, Yevgeny, is it good that you are permanently losing the capacity to, as you have always done, create your own political interlocutors for agreed-upon tirades, position-opposition quasi-governance, agreed-upon wars, and other organised madness? The survival platform for the rooted political weeds is sinking rapidly, and now they are all sinking together. That is why the panic is a general one. Your straws of salvation are failing before everyone’s eyes. All those congresses and seminars scheduled in Moscow and Belgrade in October, before the inevitable November, are organised with only one goal — to snatch the truly national idea that was generated in the student movement and popular rebellion and to return that idea to your political discourse. This is not a war for voters, because voters are just a logical consequence of subsequent manipulation of the thus-created state. Therefore, this is in its essence a war for an IDEA, and many are waging it in collaboration with the treacherous regime against the people of Serbia.
And all these blots will not take away the right to the love that the Serbian people have for Russia and for the Russian classics who loved Serbia, like Dostoevsky, Pushkin, Yesenin… There are few houses in Serbia that do not have at least one Russian classic on their shelves. In Serbia, Yesenin is still recited and Tolstoy is interpreted, and that is how it should be. But when it comes to politics, Serbian politics has the right to protect its own interests. That love cannot be marred even by the current grotesque political interests. Love is love, politics has nothing to do with it. Besides, if we are talking about the continuity of the colour revolution, then let us remember that Igor Sergeyevich Ivanov[8] came to Slobodan Milošević on behalf of the perpetrators and announced to him that it was over, that during the creation of the SNS, Ambassador Aleksandar Konuzin[9] gave legitimacy to the colour revolution in 2012[10] when he sat in the front rows at the SNS party convention, and that the current ambassador Aleksandar Bocan-Harčenko[11] has continued that tradition by supporting this obviously treacherous regime.
It is time now to inform the students and the people about the agreement you have made with this, “our” self-proclaimed. According to that agreement, the constitution-breaker will call for elections the moment you jointly assess that the national idea in the student movement is sufficiently compromised, endangered, maimed, and that a sufficient number of “bearers” of the idea have agreed to become accomplices to your “national” platform. That is your plan. Everything now “revolves” around that. Hence, every lamentation with platforms that are organised at the behest of the regime from Belgrade in Moscow and in Belgrade, is an act of open betrayal of the student and popular protest!
The IDEA and the consciousness of the national can belong only to Serbia!
Between God and man there is no mediator!
Between Serbia and the people there will be no mediator!
And Serbia is now being defended by the student movement!
The students are right, the student demands have not been met!
We will now tell the people that your political doctrine implies the management of the world of ideas. Politics is then just a logical consequence. An elaboration of the theme. Hence, for a dreadful example, even communism, which came to us as an idea through you, was the basis for the subsequent organisation of the political framework, and not the other way around. Before communism, it was Yugoslavism, with the same zeal and the same perfidy. Now a new satanic ideology has been invented — Orthodox Stalinism!
Hence, a quote from the murdered man[12], accurate word for word: “The two greatest tragedies of our people in this century are the ideology of Yugoslavism and the ideology of communism. The ideology of Yugoslavism led us, as a people, to entering a state without our own borders and we lost our national program and our national idea. All other nations used that Yugoslavia as an incubator for their national states, and we in that state lost our national state. Broken in that Yugoslavia, we fell under communism and in communism we also lost the state, because communism knows only a party state, a personal state, a family state, but it does not know a national state,…”.
And we received both those tragedies from the same kitchen!
What now when a Russian in Russia also understands what has been said, right now?
When he understands that the same devil turned Serbs into Yugoslavs as he turned Russians into Soviets?
What when a Russian in Russia understands that what you have been doing to us, you are actually also doing in your own country, to your own people?
On the other hand, if we start opening up, where will the story about the real motives for the liquidation of the man who at one moment understood all this and tried to change it take us?
In that order of yours, it is normal then that you decorate the young Šešelj[13] for the merits of the father of slaughterers, it is normal that you post a consul in Vojvodina, it is normal that Dana[14] the fratricide is on the board of your company, it is normal that your ambassador supports traitors in Serbia, normal are the secret communiqués of your special services about the howitzer and the colour revolution… It is also normal that you have so duly paid out every slaughterer on your payroll. For you, that is normal. For us, it no longer is.
That is why – THE STUDENT – happened!
Moreover, Yevgeny, it is elementary — one cannot believe “President Vučić” and at the same time have “patriots on the streets”!?.
Therefore, as I told you, it is elementary — IF PATRIOTS HAD TO TAKE TO THE STREETS, THEN IT IS LOGICAL THAT TRAITORS ARE IN POWER!
Because, it seems it could not have been otherwise.
And it is not nice to perfidiously threaten Serbia with a Maidan and a “colour revolution,” with Ukrainian scenarios and 2012. It is not nice. Serbia has deserved to live and fight for life, no matter who holds the noose that is choking it. Those madnesses cost this people of mine too much in the 20th century. Unprecedentedly, it is enough.
We here understand your need to outbid others in the “pie”[15], but I told you — new faces are needed, and lo and behold, they will have to be honest. And it seems you are caught off guard, because you had not intended such people for us.
Besides, Yevgeny, the hated “Rome” from across the Atlantic, where all of you love to educate your children and stash your families, has respected the message — it has revoked the legitimacy of the soul-tormented regime and the lying self-proclaimed. That is why there is no ambassador. There are several reasons for this, but the transoceanic people do not agree that such a notorious liar can corrupt their ambassador and that this information then becomes public property in the hands of the soul-tormented. It doesn’t work like that. Not because their administration is not corrupt, but because they understand the framework and the consequences. Unlike them, the ambassador of your self-proclaimed supports this, “our” self-proclaimed, and is wholeheartedly with him. Perhaps that support is before drinking a farewell tea, just as your previous ambassador was drinking party tea with the SNS at a meeting back in 2012. We remember the convocation at that congress. We remember all the faces. That is why the students are right in this case as well — whoever has ever had anything to do with any regime, function, state position, cannot be on the student list! Amen!
And that hurts. I know.
It is a dangerous idea. Imagine if that idea now spreads across the world. Among students, young people. Simply, they have had enough. They want something new. And you fear the new, because you do not know it. You lie that you have attained the cognition. True cognition does not generate fear. You lie that you have insight. You do not. I laughed when I realised what Comrade-Mister Zajcanov revoked for you. Hence, it is inevitable. The Russian milieu does not exist anyway. To Berlin or to Moscow… it’s all the same.
Do you know whom I have now addressed with this sentence?
Therefore, the scene now looks like this: the curtains are up, the drama section is entangled in threads dropped from the ceiling and is choking on fear and darkness. The boxes are now full of corpses and no one sees the murderer. The puppeteer’s laughter echoes only in your heads. Free people do not hear it. The world you understood is now inevitably disappearing. Of all the old rituals, only rivers of blood and ghosts breathing down your neck remain. Everyone on stage wants to see a face in the audience, but there are no more faces. You wanted a mask, you got a mask. You acted masks, now masks are watching you. Perhaps there are human faces beneath the masks, and perhaps not. Everyone on the stage can now only wait for their turn.
Hence, Yevgeny, let me introduce you to my brother in Truth — Jamal. Jamal is a doctor. He refused big hospitals, he decided to help the people. We would call that here — a family doctor. He was born where he was born, very far from our Serbia, in a surrounding that is what it is, he did not choose it. Just as none of us chose. Jamal and I have so many differences and that difference has never bothered us. And then we discovered that we have so much in common. Jamal has understood. He read the translations of these texts and he understood. He understood that a self-proclaimed does not need to have a name. Names actually change, because the devil always finds enough of the unclean for his Borscht[16]. To be a self-proclaimed means you have made a spiritual choice, you have decided to lie and everything that then comes with the lie. Jamal then started reading the texts to his family, in his region, and then all over the city. And everyone recognised their own self-proclaimed, or their own preacher from a Maybach[17], who expects a silver coin or at least 50 euros for preaching the faith, they recognised the soul-tormented general who recruits children so they can kill some other children led by his comrade, a general with the same pentagrams on his shoulders. They recognised it all. And in fact, they recognised the Truth. They asked the right question.
And the right question is very bothersome…
Then some self-proclaimed there also decided to kill the Truth with a bullet. And students were killed. Dozens were massacred. He did not frighten the Truth and the truth-lovers.
The same thing happened in another place. This lackey of yours here sees that place as a place where people collected cigarette butts after the protests, and not as a place where the authorities killed people. He sees cigarette butts here too, he does not see people. But you made him that way…
Something similar then happens in many other places all over the world.
That is why the reaction of all self-proclaimers is identical. Panic, rage, fear, aggression.
The “patriotic youth” could now take a walk through Moscow as well, but the real one, not the one you organise.
And all these places have nothing to do with mere geography. They have to do with the Truth!
That is why they need the lie about “colour revolutions.” This lie conceals a dangerous insinuation that someone else is responsible for everything that happens, some eternal “external factor” which, in collaboration with the “internal enemy,” is destroying the “foundations of society!”. Of course, external factors do their work, but they are not the ones destroying the foundations of our society. You are destroying the foundations of society – you, all of you self-proclaimers! The rebellion is universal, because corruption is universal and it destroys nations and states, it destroys families, it destroys lives. It kills.
Hence all rebels resemble one another, because they are united by the same plight.
All students resemble one another, because they recognise themselves in the desire for life and are the same in this.
Hence, all self-proclaimers resemble one another, because they are united by the same coin — the silver coin!
And the rebellion is not synchronised; rather, universal corruption is synchronised. Nepotism[18], ubiquitous corruption, incompetence, arrogance, aggression, these are the characteristics of the regime, of all regimes, of all the self-proclaimed half-wits who believed that THEY are the government and that “they can do it” in the imbecilic manner of “because I am smart.” Those are the characteristics of the regime, and the people’s response is the consequence of all that — a struggle for bare life.
The falling eaves are killing. Those who built them to fall are killing. Their universal corruption is killing, the collapse of institutions is killing, the politics that stimulates it, tolerates, conceals, and draws personal profit from this. That is what kills. Hence the rebellion.
Therefore, self-proclaimed, these texts are not a political document. I do not like politicians and politics. These texts are a path, the transcendent recast into the immanent and then again spiritualised into the transcendent, a path through which every somewhat pure being can, in its own environment, backyard, building, region, state, recognise every self-proclaimed, every preacher, every murderer, villain, criminal and corrupt state official.
To see him, to look him in the eyes, and to tell him everything with a look — I am not afraid of you!
Self-proclaimed, a baton is not a tool, a rifle is not a weapon…
The absence of fear is the only real weapon!
The absence of fear!
And here, no one is afraid of you anymore. And without fear, you do not know how to rule, because you rule in the name of the father of fear and lies and not in the name of God, even though you invoke God. God rules with Truth and love, not with a baton, a rifle, and fear. God has angels, while the minions of the fallen one send thugs. If we as humans have already strayed so far that we see one God differently, then we can at least agree on who the devil’s servant is when we recognise him.
In that order of yours, it is normal that for beating the people and inflicting serious bodily injuries dangerous to life, with the obvious intention to massacre all those people with appropriately chosen means, the villains as punishment get — don’t ever do it again! Actually, not even that, but “don’t ever do it again” with a probation period of one year, and after that, you can do it again, we’ll see… That is the epilogue of what happened in Čačak[19]. Such a “plea bargain” could only be achieved by the commissioner of the criminal act with the perpetrator of the criminal act. If the court were truly of the people, such a verdict would not be possible. Now, in any case, the interest of the people is that the verdict with the names of the perpetrators is published publicly, in all media, because the people have the right to know who the villains are who received from the regime the right to beat people on the streets. To avoid them, of course. But, I would say, with this act, a strange awareness has entered the consciousness of the people. A man I met in the “garden”[20] asked me: “So, does that mean that if the people organise into similar groups and if such groups then beat up one of those who think it can be done that way, then the representatives of the people’s response will also get off with — don’t ever do it again, with a one-year term?”.
The people have the right to know who in that “plea bargain” admitted what and to whom, whether it was admitted who commissioned the attempted murder, who paid for the crime, who organised it… these are standard questions in criminology and they must have been asked in the investigation or at least in court. Without those questions and clear answers, the bargain is invalid, because the accused lied. And a lie voids a bargain, even by human law, since you do not know God’s laws anyway.
It seems that only an autopsy of this political order will show all the evil that has infected us as a society.
You did not understand the power of the people’s whisper. You did not understand the power of silence when the whole nation is silent. You had to turn that silence into 16 minutes of silence[21]. That is your way of ruling.
Because you are arrogant, insolent, soul-tormented … small, nasty intruders in our lives.
As for your interview from last night, self-proclaimed, it was shoddy, shoddy. You devised the focus to be on showing the people that March 15th[22] was a “missed chance” and that the student protest is now extinguished, because there will be no other chances. Neither was March 15th a missed chance, nor is the popular rebellion extinguished. It was a demonstration exercise, a display of real power. The people showed that on March 15th, and you showed your power in Caciland. Actually, you are trying to transfer your defeatism and chronic disorientation onto the students. The students, in impossible conditions, are managing this process better than you have ever managed the state. Hence the drivel about only two police units being with you on March 15th. First, that is not true. Second, the students and the people on that very March 15th gained full legitimacy as an irrefutable force that wants change and clearly shows that it wants to achieve it peacefully. Third, the reason you see betrayal and traitors everywhere is because you are a traitor.
Therefore, dear readers, remember! The devil has a scenario, God has a plan of salvation. One should not follow scenarios but recognise the Truth and God’s plan. With Adam’s fall, the merciful God immediately determined a plan of salvation for man. The devil then began with scenarios, screenwriters, self-proclaimers, actors, marionettes, stages, podiums, idols, arenas, audiences who do not discern that they too are just part of the same morbid play… one must recognise, one must see through them, despise them and reject them.
Freedom is beauty, beauty is freedom!
We are called to truth, and wherever it takes us, it is good!
And for the sake of that agreed-upon conflict between their Kurti VS “our” Kurti[23], which in the direction of traitors cost us dearly in Kosovo, and that 15:0 by the treacherous scoring of “our” Kurti, nothing more than the verses of a girl from the north of Kosovo. With deep respect for her and her courage, I convey her verses to you as they were available to me:
I haven’t written in a while, ’cause there was no point anyway
But I came from a city where there was no victory
And they say we’re evil, ’cause we’re used to changes
And remarks and “go home, if you miss it”
A few hundred steps from the street to the bridge
And a few pieces of messages, we know how much it costs
Far from the blocks, ’cause not even the post office works
Let there be a procession, Serbs for Kosovo, for sure
It’s really bre[24] hard…Serbs, flower petals and roses, we down here, we’re not people
Bombs and weapons…
“Well, let them move away, no one’s holding them”
Now I’ll speak more plainly, “just endure”
Your soul hurts because of a little shortage of plasma
My arse is aching for plasma, here there’s a shortage of a race
You are aching for the security of a big and warm home
My conscience is aching, bre, from the daily breakdown
The sorrow is terrible that you have no money for a sailboat
Here they take your job, your father, your husband, then the Cyrillic
And I may calm down when they repay our debt
And certainly then when Belgrade will be a friend
Do you understand that it’s not sorrow that you take the public transport
Here you walk, and that’s a criminal offence
You see freedom in gambling and the the white
We see it only when we look at the sky
Detentions and arrests and the torture of people
It’s not our police and we are still being judged
You play dumb, that’s why we are full of rages
Not that we don´t exist
But we don´t exist on the news
Bre…
[1] Self-proclaimed – may refer to the politician Aleksandar Vučić, who usurps the role of President of Serbia contrary to the Constitution, breaking it and acting against the will of the people.
[2] Vladimir – may refer to the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
[3] “not-in-charge” – When the student protests started, the students vehemently refused to speak with anyone from the government, especially the self-proclaimed president Aleksandar Vučić, who, given his unconstitutional position, is de facto not authorised for such dialogues. The students demanded that judges and state attorneys defend the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.
[4] “no digging” – This refers to a government permit given to the company Rio Tinto for lithium mining in Serbia, against which there have been protests and backlash from the people of Serbia for many years.
[5] “virus” – Refers to the moral and political “virus” carried by the self-proclaimed, first mentioned in the previous text “A lighter form of rape, rape with the blessing of the state” (available at brankoveljkovic.com).
[6] “Because I am smart” – Refers to Vučić’s statement from 2016, when asked why he financed Hillary Clinton’s campaign: “Because I am smart!” Donald Trump eventually won.
[7] Caciland (Ćacilend)– in Serbian, “đaci” means “pupils”. During the early stages of the student protests, someone (supposedly one of the self-proclaimed leader’s hired thugs) angry at “pupils who want to go to school and study,” misspelled the word in graffiti as “ćaci”. This mistake became a meme of the protests. Later, when the self-proclaimed offered a park to his “students,” the protesters ironically called it “Ćacilend,” the land of the pupils. Source: protest lore, 2020s Serbia; explained in local media reports.
[8] Igor Sergeyevich Ivanov – Slobodan Milošević – Russian Foreign Minister (1998–2004). His 1999 meeting with Milošević during the Kosovo War is seen as a turning point when Russia delivered NATO’s ultimatum.
[9] Ambassador Aleksandar Konuzin – Russian ambassador to Serbia (2009–2012). His attendance at the founding convention of SNS (Srpska napredna stranka, Serbian Progressive Party) was viewed as a form of Russian endorsement of the current regime.
[10] 2012 – The year Vučić’s SNS (Serbian Progressive Party) came to power, interpreted here as Serbia’s actual “colour revolution.”
[11] Ambassador Aleksandar Bocan-Harčenko – Russian ambassador to Serbia (2019–present).
[12] “quote from the murdered man” – Refers to Zoran Đinđić, prime minister of Serbia (2001–2003), assassinated in 2003. (Source: Wikipedia)

[17] Maibach – Refers to the luxury car driven by the Serbian patriarch Porfirije, symbolising clerical opulence.
[18] Nepotism – The act of granting privileges or positions to relatives in various professional fields (business, politics, academia, religion, etc.).
[19] Čačak – A town in central Serbia, where, according to independent media reports (e.g. N1, Danas, September 2025), a man and a woman were beaten by thugs who jumped out of a car, allegedly hired by the regime. Although initially arrested, the attackers were soon released through a controversial plea bargain.
(Sources: N1 Info, “Brutal attack in Čačak – two arrested and quickly released”, September 2025; Danas.rs archives.)
[20] “Garden” – Bašta (“garden”) likely a specific cafe or public square in Belgrade that serves as a meeting point for dissidents and intellectuals.
[21] 16 minutes of silence – The student march began with a 16-minute silence commemorating 16 victims (17 including an unborn child) who died in Novi Sad (November 1st, 2024) under a collapsed train station roof, a tragedy tied to state-level construction corruption.
[22] 15th of March 2025 – Refers to the largest protests in modern Serbian history. Over 1 million people protested across the country — an extraordinary number relative to Serbia’s 6.7 million citizens.
[23] Kurti VS Kurti – A reference to the column “Kurti VS Kurti” published on brankoveljkovic.com, analysing the political duplicity of both “their” Kurti (Albin Kurti) and “our” Kurti (Vučić).
[24] bre – An untranslatable Serbian colloquial particle used for emphasis or emotional expression, roughly equivalent to “man,” “mate,” or “damn” in tone, but without a direct English equivalent. It carries an earthy, expressive flavour characteristic of spoken Serbian.
